Continuum Drive PCB
Continuum Drive: Smooth, low gain blues tones mimicking the Dumble sounds of a similarly named album.
This product is the unpopulated PCB only - full assembly, soldering, and fitting in an enclosure will be required.
This pedal has been designed to offer the low-gain drive you'd typically associate with the Dumble-ish sounds heard on John Mayer's Continuum album. Subtle drive matched with clarity makes this an ideal pedal for clean blues, or combined with another drive or boost to create some awesome, singing crunch.
This PCB has been specifically designed to match the drill pattern of the Tayda Electronics pre-drilled 1590b enclosures. This particular effect fits the Type 4 Drilled enclosure with space for each of the 3 controls and the top-centre hole spare for the LED.
This board does use 4x SMT J201 SOT23 JFET transistors which, if you can track them down, are a little tricky to solder.
This board has been designed with a companion 3PDT daughter board - just solder this to your footswitch with the small arrows facing those on the main board and connect each of the pads to their counterparts. Solder your input and output jacks to the daughter board and you're ready to go!
Supplied with 3PDT daughter board and full build guide.
