The Goldirocks Distortion: This dual Op-Amp distortion pedal isn't subtle, isn't transparent, and isn't for the timid!
This product is the unpopulated PCB only - full assembly, soldering, and fitting in an enclosure will be required.
Based on the Acapulco Gold and designed to fit perfectly in a small 1590A enclosure with everything, including the pot, onboard. Different to some of my other pedal PCBs, this one has the parts needed printed directly on the board but here's a bill of materials for your shopping list:
- 2x LM386 ICs
- 1x 1M resistor
- 1x 68K resistor
- 1x CLR resistor for the indicator LED (I use 4K7)
- 1x 1N4001 diode
- 1x 4.7nF capacitor
- 2x 1uF electrolytic capacitors
- 2x 10uF electrolytic capacitors
- 1x 100uF electrolytic capacitor
- 1x 16mm A100K right angle potentiometer
